My name is Perry Holmes, and I am a dedicated educator and student advocate from Lancaster, Texas. I hold a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Counseling, both from Prairie View A&M University.
With over 20 years of experience in education, I have cultivated a strong background in academic advisement, special education, and behavioral coaching. I began my professional journey at Prairie View A&M University, where I served as an academic advisor for incoming students for three years. Since then, I have spent the past 17 years with Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD), supporting both students and staff in a variety of roles, including special education teacher, behavioral coach, mentor, football coach, and staff development facilitator.
Throughout my career, I have been honored with several recognitions, including Houston Rockets Teacher of the Game and CFISD Spotlight Teacher, among other accolades that reflect my commitment to educational excellence and student success.
In addition to my work in K–12 education, I currently serve as an academic advisor at Lone Star College, where I support students pursuing associate degrees and those planning to transfer to four-year institutions.
I bring a wealth of expertise in supporting students who receive special services and am deeply committed to fostering lifelong learning. I pride myself on being a collaborative team player and a dependable resource for both students and colleagues.
Outside of my professional life, I have been happily married for 19 years, and together my wife and I have built a life full of meaningful memories and shared experiences.

– an educator with over 15 years of experience in education and training– a lifelong advocate for children, families, and community healing. I attended Prairie View A&M University from which I received the majority of my education. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston, I have spent my career working closely with both children and mental health patients helping others navigate life’s challenges with understanding.
As a founding member of Sister Sista Organization since 2015, I have had the honor of mentoring 7th and 8th grade girls—encouraging them to build confidence, lead with character, and find strength in social connections. I am also a certified step aerobics instructor, where I combine movement and motivation to show others that building a strong foundation, physically and mentally, is key to success.
Through Lead with Love my purpose is to provide lasting, positive effects through mentorship, education, and community service. Whether I’m in the classroom or in the community, my goal is always the same: to help others grow, heal, and thrive through love, intention, and leadership
